In August 2003 “The First Summit of Micronations” was held in the historical settings of Finlandia House in Helsinki. Kings, presidents and representatives of The Principali-ty of Sealand, Ladonia, NSK-state, Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland, Transnational Republic and State of Sabotage met each others for the very first time. The event was organised within the frame of Amorph!03-festival by Artists´Association MUU and it was planned by artists Tellervo Kalleinen & Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen.

A 188-page book has been published on the occassion of the Summit. It contains artic-les by international scholars on the subject, documents related to the history of the parti-cipating micronations and a careful documentation of the events that unfolded during the Summit.
