Taliesin Denning is an emerging artist, who’s work explores the relationship between practice, artist and audience. His conceptual work often documents a performative activity, the act of making the work is considered as important as the final product.

Dennings work entitled »National Anthems« will be presented in Finland at the opening ceremony of Amorph!03 at Finlandia House.
It contains ALL the worlds national anthems recorded on top of each other as a single track. The anthems are mostly totally lost but some melodies momentarily break through, other anthems are much longer and continue after the others have finished. The effect is rather dystopian, we experience a clamour of national identity (and electronic noise) rather than a harmony of nations united.
