”I am not human” is a video installation by Ahti Parviainen, video and digital artist. It comprises of three individual parts:
”Me”, ”I am not” and ”Human”.

”Me” is a short story of how the concept of thought alters in relationship during days, weeks, months and years. Of how words gain a new meaning and aspirations transform into knowledge. There is time to say good-bye, that was never meant to be said.

”I am not” is a short story of awakening, when one starts to ponder on who fell in love with who. Was it me, after all who fell in love. Someone anyway flew over the cocoo's nest. Was it you? How did we come to this?

”Human” is a short story of what it is and what is this game called life. What it is when one is let down.

Background of this exhibition could be the life itself, lived experience, shared experiences of relationships, changing over time. Video enables to stop the moment in motion. Image and human being move forward while human thought stands still or moves backwards.

I am not human

Once again
On the road
I recall your words.

I still do not know
If I agree with you.

Anyway, you had
What you wanted.
Didn't you?
